Bangalore Airport to Mandya Cab

For a lot of people landing at Kempegowda International Airport, Mandya is not a holiday destination but home. Students back from abroad, professionals returning from the Gulf and families flying in for weddings in the sugar belt all need the same thing: a dependable car waiting when they walk out of arrivals. Savari Holidays runs Bangalore Airport to Mandya cabs throughout the day and night. The trip covers roughly 145 km and usually takes three to three and a half hours via the Bengaluru–Mysuru Expressway, with door-to-door drop to Mandya town or any village around it.

One-way fares include fuel and driver allowance (minimum 130 km). Round-trip fares are for the same car returning to Bangalore Airport, billed at the round-trip rate with a daily minimum. Tolls, parking and interstate permits are extra where they apply. Tempo Travellers, Urbania and mini buses are available for round trips.

A homecoming ride, done properly

Long-haul passengers often arrive with heavy suitcases, cartons and gifts for the extended family. A small app cab hailed at the kerb is rarely the right fit, and the drivers may not want a long run into rural Mandya. When you book with us, we know the destination in advance, assign a vehicle that matches your luggage and send a driver who is happy to find the right lane in your village. If relatives are coming to receive you at the airport, a bigger vehicle lets everyone travel back together.

Route overview

Airport to Mysuru Road

The drive starts on NH 44 out of Devanahalli. To avoid the slowest parts of Bengaluru, drivers typically use the Outer Ring Road or NICE Road to reach Mysuru Road near Kengeri. At night or on Sunday mornings the city stretch can be surprisingly quick.

Expressway to Mandya

The Bengaluru–Mysuru Expressway bypasses Ramanagara, Channapatna and Maddur and has a dedicated exit for Mandya. Toll plazas on the expressway use FASTag, so there is little waiting. If your home is in Maddur, Malavalli, Pandavapura, Srirangapatna or KR Pet taluk, the driver leaves the expressway at whichever exit is closest.

Covering the whole district

Mandya district is spread out, and many of our passengers are headed to villages rather than the town itself. We regularly drop to:

  • Mandya city and the areas around the sugar factory and VC Farm
  • Maddur and the villages on the Malavalli road
  • Pandavapura and Melukote
  • KR Pet and Nagamangala
  • Srirangapatna and the KRS dam area

Share a Google Maps pin or a nearby landmark when booking, and the driver will call ahead if the last stretch is unclear.

For visitors, not just residents

Mandya is often overlooked by tourists, yet the district holds some memorable spots within an hour of town:

  • Melukote: a hilltop temple town linked with the philosopher Ramanujacharya, home to the Cheluvanarayana Swamy temple and the Yoga Narasimha shrine.
  • Shivanasamudra: the Gaganachukki and Bharachukki waterfalls on the Kaveri, at their most dramatic after the monsoon.
  • Kokkrebellur: a village near Maddur where painted storks and spot-billed pelicans nest in the trees right among the houses.
  • KRS dam and Brindavan Gardens: on the Mysore side of the district, ideal for an evening stop.

If you plan to see any of these on the day you land, we can build the stop into the trip.

Choosing your vehicle

Solo travellers and couples are comfortable in a Swift Dzire or Toyota Etios, which also have a decent boot. Two or three large suitcases plus family members point towards an Ertiga or Innova. When relatives come to receive you, or when a wedding party lands together, a Tempo Traveller or mini bus is the sensible choice and usually works out simpler than coordinating several cars.

How the pickup works

  • We track your flight, so early or delayed landings are accounted for.
  • After you collect your bags, the driver meets you at the arrivals pickup area of your terminal.
  • Trolleys are available inside the terminal; the driver helps load luggage at the car.
  • Pickups run 24x7, which matters for Gulf and Southeast Asia flights that often land in the small hours.

A few practical tips

Monsoon showers between June and September can slow the drive, especially on village roads, so allow some buffer if you have a function to attend the same day. During the harvest and sugarcane crushing season, slow-moving tractor-trailers loaded with cane are common on district roads; your driver is used to them. For return trips to the airport, book well ahead of early-morning departures so the car arrives in good time. For an international flight, leaving Mandya six and a half to seven hours before take-off covers the drive plus check-in and immigration.

Highlights on the way

  • Drop to Mandya town or any village in the district
  • Vehicles sized for long-haul luggage and gift cartons
  • Pickups for late-night Gulf and international arrivals
  • Expressway route with direct Mandya and Maddur exits
  • Optional stops at Melukote, Kokkrebellur or Shivanasamudra

Bangalore Airport to Mandya cab: frequently asked questions

How far is Mandya from Kempegowda International Airport?

Mandya town is roughly 145 km from the airport by road. The drive normally takes three to three and a half hours, mostly on the Bengaluru–Mysuru Expressway.

Can you drop us at a village outside Mandya town?

Yes. We cover the whole district, including Maddur, Malavalli, Pandavapura, KR Pet and Nagamangala. Share a location pin or landmark and the driver will find it.

We have a lot of luggage from abroad. Which car should we book?

For two or three large suitcases plus hand luggage, an Ertiga or Innova is safer than a sedan. For more luggage or more people, consider an Innova Crysta or a Tempo Traveller.

Can relatives ride to the airport in the same cab to receive us?

Yes. Book a round trip from Mandya to the airport and back, and choose a vehicle with enough seats for everyone travelling both ways.

Do you pick up from international flights that land after midnight?

Yes. Our service is available 24x7 and we track flights, so a 1 AM or 4 AM landing is handled without any extra coordination from you.
