A Tirupati to Bangalore cab covers about 250 km in 5–5.5 hours on NH75, passing Chittoor, Palamaner, Mulbagal and Kolar. It is the main road between the Tirumala pilgrimage centre and Bangalore, and is used by many families returning after darshan. The route has several temples of its own, including Kanipakam near Chittoor and Kurudumale near Mulbagal, which are easy to add on the way.

One-way fares include fuel and driver allowance (minimum 130 km). Round-trip fares are for the same car returning to Tirupati, billed at the round-trip rate with a daily minimum. Tolls, parking and interstate permits are extra where they apply. Tempo Travellers, Urbania and mini buses are available for round trips.
From Tirupati the road heads south-west via Chandragiri to Chittoor, then climbs gently onto the plateau through Palamaner, a cooler town surrounded by forested hills. Crossing into Karnataka near Nangali, the highway passes Mulbagal and Kolar, known for its gold fields and the Kolaramma temple, before reaching Hoskote and Bangalore's eastern edge at KR Puram. Drops in Whitefield and east Bangalore are therefore quick, while central and south Bangalore depend on city traffic. Kempegowda International Airport is reached via Hoskote and the airport road.
Weather rarely disrupts this route. The June–September monsoon brings regular showers and the odd waterlogged stretch, while October to February is cool and clear. Around Dasara and long weekends, traffic near Mysore and Bangalore builds, so allow extra time beyond the usual 5–5.5 hours.
A sedan is comfortable on this highway, while pilgrim families with luggage often choose an Ertiga or Innova. Over 5–5.5 hours on the road, seat space matters: the Ertiga suits a family of five or six, the Innova and Innova Crysta add comfort for long hauls, and the Swift Dzire or Etios keeps things simple for up to four. Groups of ten or more usually take a Tempo Traveller, Urbania or mini bus.
